"I have been writing for over twenty years, first published at fifteen in a teen magazine with a sappy poem which I dedicated to an “it” pop star. With the poem fueling my fire, I continued to write about celebrities, movies, music; all manners of media. My work has since expanded greatly and has been published in newspapers and online.  Last year I took on the challenge of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) -- an exercise designed to push writers to complete a 50,000 word novel utilizing only the 30 days in November -- and I won!  Although still rough, the book is one I will be proud to publish in 2010 as I really love the characters and the story they allowed me to tell.  I truly feel that anyone can be a good character, it is just that some need no more than the length of a column while others can sustain multiple novels worth of words to tell their story."

NOVEL

RIPPLE THE TWINE
Written In:         2009
Current Status: Editing

Novel Synopses:
Sara McCree is a thirty something freelance sports writer living and working in Boston, Massachusetts and is the type of girl who would rather don a pair of running shoes to attend a hockey game over being uncomfortable in heels at some fancy affair.  Thursday nights are for spending time with her best girls at a friend's bar drinking beers and having fun. Her friends are all self made and while one is on the brink of super stardom as the lead singer in an up and coming local band, another is already wildly successful as a multi-franchise shop owner in the Green bath and body industry. Sara has had some bad luck with romantic relationships in the past but in the true spirit of "feast-or-famine", it seems that lately her prospects are looking up, despite her Mother's inadvertant attempts to knock her ego down.  Sara knows that although her Mother can be a bit abrasive, she only wants to see her happy with a good man.  But in a strange twist, the great man in all of their lives recently revealed some information that will have the girls opening their eyes to just how fast life can change, and how short it might really be.
